Fishers Fire Department Hosts 2024 Awards Ceremony and Chief Ky Ragsdale’s Badge Pinning

The Fishers Fire Department honored its members at the 2024 Awards Ceremony, recognizing outstanding achievements and service. The event took place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Fishers Municipal Complex Theater.

Mayor Scott Fadness opened the ceremony with remarks, followed by the badge pinning of Chief Ky Ragsdale, who was sworn in as Fire Chief for the City of Fishers on January 24, 2025. Chief Ragsdale’s wife, Donna, had the honor of pinning his badge, joined by their son, Cole.

External Affairs Officer Ashley Heckly served as emcee, and department Chaplain Gary Stump delivered the Invocation and Benediction. The Fishers Fire Department Honor Guard presented the colors, accompanied by the Indianapolis Public Safety Pipes and Drums.
